Timothée Chalamet is a Meth Addict in Beautiful Boy Teaser Trailers

<img src="https://https://static1.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Timothee-Chalamet-in-Beautiful-Boy.jpg" /><p>Timothée Chalamet and Steve Carell star in the teaser trailers for the true story memoir, <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/beautiful-boy/"><strong><em>Beautiful Boy</em></strong></a>. Chalamet broke out last year thanks to his turn as lovestruck young Elio in <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/call-me-by-your-name/"><em>Call Me By Your Name</em></a>. That was far from the only significant movie that the actor made in 2017, either. He also played supporting roles in fellow Best Picture Oscar nominee <em>Lady Bird</em> and Scott Cooper's brutal western <em>Hostiles</em>, further cementing his status as the hot new thing in the world of indie film.</p><p><em>Beautiful Boy</em> stars Chalamet as Nic Sheff, a young man who develops a terrible meth addiction that alienates him from his caring father David (Carell). The film is based on the memoirs written by the real life David and Nic, titled <em>Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction</em> and <em>Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines</em>. Some years back, Cameron Crowe was attached to adapt the Sheffs' stories for the big screen, with Mark Wahlberg circling the role of David.
