This was the first character to really be known by the die-hard fans before making his way into the movies themselves.</p><p>First, Fett appeared in the notorious holiday special, then, he became a highly sought-after action figure to tie into the then-upcoming <em>Empire Strikes Back. </em></p><p>It was the design of the character that made him so popular in the first place. While Boba Fett’s enigmatic nature and reputation as a bounty hunter made him enduring, the armor is what fans have responded to for so long. It’s the key to his success.</p><p>The Mandalorian Armor that Fett wears also has a rich history of its own.
