Game of Thrones: Jon & Daenerys Actors Get Close in New Set Photo

A new behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Game of Thrones pairs Emilia Clarke with Kit Harington in support of her new Omaze charity contest. Though the TV show has veered away from the books in a number of big ways, fans of A Song of Ice and Fire can at least take solace in the fact that Game of Thrones isn’t going anywhere. Aside from the final season of the show airing next year and providing some resolution for key plots (many of which will likely mirror future book events), five different spinoff ideas are in the works.

We know only one of the spinoff ideas will make it to air at a time, but it still means fans of the world George R.R. Martin created will have some new content to consume. On the book side of things, they’ll have a Targaryen-centric collection of stories ...
