Deadpool 2 Almost Included Chris Evans' Human Torch

Although the actor is best known for playing Captain America, that isn't his only superhero role. Evans played Johnny Storm in 2005's <em>Fantastic Four</em> and its sequel, <em>Rise of the Silver Surfer</em>.</p><p>The role didn't do wonders for Evans, but he managed to overcome the films and embark on a journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It took half a decade, but Evans' redemption came in playing Steve Rogers in 2011's <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/captain-america/"><em>Captain America: The First Avenger</em></a>, and then again in several sequels and team-up films. Evans has managed to wipe away nearly all memory of his superhero debut.
