Overkill's The Walking Dead Gameplay Teaser Trailer Revealed

Overkill’s The Walking Dead gameplay teaser trailer revealed

The E3 2018 gameplay teaser trailer for Skybound’s Overkill’s The Walking Dead has been released! The highly anticipated game will launch on November 6, 2018, and is available for pre-order now on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Check out Overkill’s The Walking Dead gameplay teaser trailer in the player below!

Overkill’s The Walking Dead is a four-player co-op action first-person shooter, where you and your friends fight the dead as well as the living. Set in The Walking Dead universe, you and your group try to survive in a post-apocalyptic Washington, D.C. Each character has their own special abilities, skill trees, squad roles, play styles, and story arcs, but teamwork is paramount.

The game immerses the player into a universe where every single move you make will run the risk of turning a quiet scavenge for loot into an intense adrenaline-fueled and action-packed fight for survival. Four players form a tightly knit team: Aidan, Heather, Maya, and Grant, where they all share a common objective where survival and teamwork are paramount.

Heather was a kindergarten teacher in Washington D.C. when people started turning. She’s taught young generations the difference between right and wrong but now finds herself blurring out the line. However, Heather still hopes to find the good in all people. She’s just learned when to stop looking.

Grant left the city life to live out his golden years hunting and writing wilderness guides. Now he finds himself back in D.C., looking for his family even if he knows the odds of their survival are slim. The world may have changed, but the hunt feels the same to Grant as he stares down the barrel of his rifle.

Maya is a former surgeon and no stranger to making life or death decisions. She finds herself pushed beyond what she could ever expect in a Washington D.C. ridden with walkers. Now facing similar decisions but with far grimmer consequences, she’s the group’s medic and is just as good at taking lives as she is at saving them.

Aidan has always had a bit of a temper, but he repressed it to the best of his abilities. Now he channels those emotions into his melee fighting style, letting him fully express his emotions for the first time.

Team up with your friends and fight through everything the apocalypse throws at you. In a world where everything has changed, walkers are a constant threat, but it’s the living that should scare you the most. Survive the streets of Washington, D.C., a city overrun with walkers, but put extra thought in how to fight, because one wrong move or too much noise will attract the horde.

Each character comes with their specific abilities and skills. Help your team by holding the front line, supporting them with med bags, or killing enemies. Increase your characters’ powers by leveling up, upgrade your camp’s defenses, and take care of those that live there by any means necessary.

Be silent and tactical with a suppressor, or loud and proud by shortening the barrel of your shotgun. Pick up scrap on the go to turn them into tools and use them in the next fight, or to open new paths through the world. The world changes and adapts automatically depending on your character’s level and the number of people playing with you.

The action is close-up and intense: take out enemies carefully with a silent melee attack or go in guns blazing with your choice of each class weapons. You need to be able to improvise as nothing is certain and a horde of walkers is always right around the corner.
