Deadpool Takes Over Stephen Colbert's Monologue On The Late Show

<img src="https://https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Deadpool-on-The-Late-Show-With-Stephen-Colbert.jpg" /><p>The media blitz for <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/deadpool-2/"><em><strong>Deadpool 2</strong></em></a> continues unabated, with the Merc with the Mouth crashing <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/the-late-show/"><em>The Late Show with Stephen Colbert</em></a>. After having his offer to be a special guest for the evening rejected, Deadpool did what Deadpool does best and imposed himself, taking over the reading of the rest of the evening's opening monologue.</p><p>The <em>Deadpool</em> appearance marks the latest in a long, loose partnership between <a href="https://screenrant.com/comics/">Marvel Comics</a> and <em>The Late Show</em> host. Following the death of Captain America in 2007, Colbert was officially presented with the duty of guarding Steve Rogers' pure Vibranium shield as "<em>the most patriotic man in America</em>."
