Avengers: Infinity War pulls off a tremendously difficult balancing act. Not only does the film include the dozens of characters Marvel fans have come to love, but it has to manage tons of subplots alongside several shifts in tone. The movie has to overwork itself to please every fan and do every character justice in only two and a half hours. It can feel cluttered at times, but it has proven to be a massive success.
