Agents of SHIELD's Fate is Still Up in the Air at ABC

<img src="https://https://static1.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Agents-of-SHIELD-Season-5.jpg" /><p>ABC has yet to reveal <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/agents-of-shield/"><strong><em>Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.</em></strong></a>'s fate, giving it an uncertain status heading into the season five finale. While <em>S.H.I.E.L.D.</em> started hot from a ratings perspective as it rode the heels of <em>The Avengers</em>, it didn't take long for the true audience to settle in. The ratings were on a gradual decline, but have largely evened out over the last two seasons. But, those numbers are far from the powerhouse ABC expected, and we only got a fifth season thanks to Disney stepping in and forcing their hand.</p><p>Because of that, there's been a cloud of uncertainty hovering over <em>S.H.I.E.L.D.</em> all season long. They've now aired 21 out of 22 episodes and their fate is still undecided.
