Jason Todd gets ready to battle Pennywise in a new trailer for the fan-made independent film Red Hood IT. Many versions of the character of Jason Todd, and his common alias Red Hood, have popped up in comics, TV, and animated films since 1983. But the closest thing to a live-action version of the character is in the form of Gotham’s “Red Hood Gang,” despite the existence of demand for the character in the DCEU.
Pennywise the Clown, meanwhile, re-entered the public consciousness in 2017 with Andres Muschietti’s megahit re-imagining of Stephen King’s classic novel IT. Though the movie was mostly left out at awards season, it set a new standard for horror movies at the box office and drew mostly positive reviews.
