The latest set photos for Captain Marvel show star Brie Larson being put through her paces as part of some military training. Though Captain Marvel won’t appear in Avengers: Infinity War when it arrives next month (at least, not outside of a post-credits scene), she will be headlining her own solo Marvel Cinematic Universe movie in about a year. Having nearly joined the MCU a few times already, Carol Danvers will be featured front and center in her own film – one that finds her in the middle of an intergalactic war, back in the 1990s.
