Remember when “GTL” was a thing? Back in 2009, “gym, tan, laundry” was a way of life for the cast of Jersey Shore. Soon after they invaded our living rooms, that and so many other catchphrases became common vocabulary for most Americans, no matter what coast you were on.
People would randomly start yelling things like, “Cabs are here!” Words like meatball, smush and grenade suddenly took on entirely new meanings. Before the days of binge-watching Netflix, MTV had marathons – and Jersey Shore was the show you just could not turn off.
