It might sound ridiculous, but the Power Rangers franchise is no stranger to controversy. The original series was banned in several countries during its heyday in the early-to-mid 1990s for displaying acts of violence, after all. Ever since then, Power Rangers has gotten progressively more violent and people have stopped caring. But that’s not the point.
