Atlanta Season 3 Is Totally Happening

The series’ second season — titled <i>A<a href="https://screenrant.com/atlanta-robbin-season-premiere-review-donald-glover/">tlanta Robbin’ Season</a></i> — recently came to a close, with critics handing down effusive praise for the show’s endlessly inventive, often surreal storytelling, as well as its direction by Hiro Murai, Amy Seimetz, and series creator and star, Donald Glover. With that kind of praise, plus Glover’s popularity stemming from his work as Childish Gambino<i> </i>and his appearance as Lando Calrissian in this summer’s <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/han-solo/"><i>Solo: A Star Story</i></a>, it’s really no surprise that FX would want to another season of <i>Atlanta</i>.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p>That the series is returning so soon after season 2, however, is a bit more surprising. FX is known for giving its talent a great deal of creative freedom, even when that freedom means taking more time off between seasons than usual. That was certainly the case with <i>Atlanta</i> season 2, which premiered 16 months after season 1 came to a close.
