As Josh Boone’s New Mutants heads for some reshoots, it sounds like the movie is undergoing something of an overhaul as it adds a brand new character.
In keeping with FOX’s darker world of X-Men movies, New Mutants promises to be a genre-defining superhero horror. Focusing on a younger team of mutants as they come to grips with their powers, the movie will be a loose adaptation of Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz’s ‘Demon Bear Saga’ from the ’80s. The current roster of character for New Mutants already includes Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, and Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane. However, it sounds like we will find some new blood to come under the care of Dr. Cecilia Reyes.
