The trailer for the forthcoming Disobedience movie has arrived and sees Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams deeply in love but restrained by their strict religion. Disobedience is based on the 2006 novel of the same name by Naomi Alderman which explores the bisexuality of a Rabbi’s daughter as she returns to her Orthodox Jewish community after a period away. The book was very well received upon release, garnering critical acclaim and a smattering of awards including the Sunday Times Young Writer Of The Year award and the Jewish Book Council’s 2007 prize for literature.
