A new Star Wars: Battlefront 2 TV spot has given fans their first glimpse of the game’s Crait map, an upcoming piece of DLC which will tie into Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The planet of Crait will play an important role in Rian Johnson’s Episode VIII movie, hosting a sizeable confrontation between The First Order and The Resistance. It has been teased in the trailers for the film, with the splashes of red dust – for want of a better term – providing several eye-catching moments.
If it weren’t for that red dust, the confrontation on Crait would look a lot like the Hoth battle from The Empire Strikes Back, pitting small good guy fighters against sizeable walkers and swathes of Stormtroopers within a washed-out white landscape.
