Hayley Atwell is returning as Peggy Carter in an upcoming episode of Avengers: Secret Wars. Following the cancellation of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Marvel and Disney XD quickly launched Avengers Assemble. The animated series loosely follows the Marvel Cinematic Universe continuity and shares a universe with fellow animated series Ultimate Spider-Man. Like that show, Secret Wars began rebranding itself for new seasons based upon the plot of the episodes. Currently, the show is in its fourth season as Avengers: Secret Wars, which sees Black Panther leading a new team of Avengers.
