Sony is in talks with Batman Begins and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice writer David S. Goyer to direct their reboot of Masters of the Universe. Sony has been working continuously to get the Mattel based property back on the big screen. After previously named McG as the director, Masters of the Universe has been stuck in development ever since. Even with a director, the project never appeared to have much urgency behind it. The movie was at one point in the casting process with Kellan Lutz in the running for the lead role of He-Man.
