Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther is 2018’s most anticipated comic book character. This year, 2017, marked a series of unprecedented comic book movie releases. Not only did Hollywood studios release a record number of superhero movies throughout the year – eight, to be exact: from Logan to Wonder Woman to Thor: Ragnarok – but those movies also accounted for Hugh Jackman’s final outing as Wolverine, the first female-led, blockbuster superhero film, and the first time Justice League ever released on the big screen.
