Critically-acclaimed novelist George R.R. Martin has announced that the sixth installment of his popular A Song of Ice and Fire, The Winds of Winter, won’t be released this year. The source material for HBO’s groundbreaking fantastical show, Game of Thrones, has been stuck for quite some time now after releasing five novels and it seems like the wait is going to be longer.
