Nearly 21 years after it ended, the executive producer of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman reveals how the show was never meant to end with that big cliffhanger.
Long before Tom Welling was treading through the fields of Smallville, Dean Cain was putting red pants on outside his tights and picking up a copy of The Daily Planet in Metropolis. Looking closer that the relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane, Teri Hatcher was cast as the feisty Ms. Lane, and the rest was history. However, when the show wrapped after four seasons, fans were outraged that the show left them begging for more.
